Topic 2 – Calm the Chaos: Behavior Solutions for Infants and Toddlers
Focus: Concrete strategies for tough behaviors
- Biting, hitting, pushing, and “velcro kids” who won’t let go.
- Preventing meltdowns with routines, transitions, and sensory strategies.
- Simple phrases and scripts for redirecting toddlers without power struggles.
- Trauma-aware care in infant/toddler settings in plain language.
Topic 3 – Everyday Routines that Build Security (and Save Your Sanity)
Focus: Schedules, care routines, and environment
- Designing realistic infant and toddler schedules (feeding, diapering, sleep, play) that work in real centers.
- Mixed-age birth-36 months rooms: keeping everyone safe and engaged.
- Practical systems for bottles, labeling, and safety that keep parents’ trust.
Topic 4 – Strong Relationships with Tiny People (and Their Big People)
Focus: Attachment, responsive care, and parent communication
- Reading baby and toddler cues and responding without burning out.
- How to hold, comfort, and respond without being accused of “spoiling” babies.
- Difficult parent conversations at drop-off and pick-up: scripts and boundaries.
Topic 5 – Teacher Well-Being in the Baby Room
Focus: Burnout prevention, mindset, and joy
- Why infant–toddler work feels so intense and how to protect your heart and body.
- Micro-breaks, team support, and self-talk that keep you from going under.
- Finding joy again: reframing the hard moments to meaningful moments.
5-Hour Certificate
After viewing the course, pass a brief follow-up true/false exam for your 5-hour certificate. You will not be able to answer the questions until after the seminar ends. If you watch the seminar, you can answer all questions easily. Those who answer less than 70% correctly will be required to pay a $5 retake fee. No need to worry - failed exams are rare.
